Steam Calculator

Find out how much your Steam account is worth

How to Check Your Steam Account Value

Paste your Steam profile URL or Steam ID in the field above and click "Calculate". The calculator will analyze your profile and show your game count, total playtime, and library value.

For a complete calculation, make sure your profile and game details are set to "Public" in Steam privacy settings. If your profile is private, only basic information will be available.

What the Steam Calculator Shows

  • Library Value — The sum of real current Steam store prices (US region) for each game in your library. Covers games that have a store price
  • Pile of Shame — The share of your games with zero playtime
  • Cost Per Hour — Library value divided by total hours played
  • Game Count — Total number of games in your library, including free-to-play
  • Recent Playtime — Hours from your public profile's recently played list (Steam publishes the last 2 weeks of activity)
  • CS2 Inventory Value — Real CS2 item valuation from marketplace data, linking into our skin price pages

Frequently Asked Questions

How is Steam account value calculated?

The calculator reads your game list via the official Steam Web API (IPlayerService/GetOwnedGames) and sums real current Steam store prices for each game from a price cache. Free games (CS2, Dota 2, TF2) and delisted titles have no store price and are excluded. If part of the library has not been checked yet, the calculator reports its coverage honestly — running it again prices more games.

Why doesn't the value match what I've actually spent?

Library value shows what it would cost to buy all your games today at current store prices. Actual spending is almost always lower: sale discounts reach 75-90%, games come in bundles, are received as gifts, or through subscriptions.

Do I need to make my profile public?

For a full calculation — yes. Go to Steam → Settings → Privacy and set "My profile" and "Game details" to "Public". You can revert it after checking. For private profiles, only basic info (name, avatar, join date) is available.

Is my profile data safe?

Completely. We only access publicly available data from your Steam profile. Nothing is stored on our servers — calculations happen in real-time. We never ask for your password or access your account.

Where do I find my Steam profile URL?

Open Steam, click your name at the top, and select "Profile". Copy the URL from the address bar. If you need a SteamID64 or other ID format, use our Steam ID Finder for instant conversion.
